Todd Ely, a professor in CU Denver's School of Public Administration, has released a new report on Colorado private foundations. The goals of the report are to identify characteristics and giving patterns, highlight grantmaking best practices, and spotlight private foundation impact investing. The report analyzes assets, number and average amount of grants, geographic distribution and . Findings project that private foundation giving has an economic impact of $5.57 Billion annually in Colorado. The report also notes significant efforts related to equity and diversity and a high level of transparency.
