The Women's Foundation of Colorado seeks community feedback on its Women & Girls of Color Fund

Monday, August 31, 2020

The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s (WFCO) Women & Girls of Color Fund will deepen its commitment to meaningful, intentional investment in women, girls, and nonbinary people of color and advancing their economic security.

Women and girls of color contribute immensely to social movements and the health and well-being of our communities. Yet they are undervalued and underinvested in. Intentional, explicit investment in women, girls, and nonbinary people of color is the only way to advance racial and economic justice.

Throughout the summer of 2020, WFCO staff will partner with a group of women embedded in racial and gender equity work to learn and create an innovative, equitable framework for the fund. WFCO also needs the voices and experiences of the community in order to best serve the unique needs of women, girls, and nonbinary people of color at all intersections across Colorado and their communities. Please fill out their survey to provide your input, and share with your networks to help reach as many community members as possible.
