Philanthropy's Role in Supporting Public School Diversity and Integration

Thursday, April 18, 2019, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Gates Family Foundation, Rose Community Foundation, and the Colorado Association of Funders invite you to join us for a luncheon and conversation with Dr. Susan Eaton, Director of the Sillerman Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy at Brandeis University. The Sillerman Center engages grantmakers interested in better understanding the causes, myriad harms, and potential cures for racial and socioeconomic segregation in the nation's K-12 school systems. Susan will share findings from her report, "Diverse, Equitable, Inclusive K-12 Public Schools", which identifies opportunities for funders to support school diversity and integration. Susan will be joined by a panel of local leaders driving forward work at the policy, systems, school, and community levels in Denver.
