Investing for Environmental Impact

All interested members are encouraged to take part in this meeting of Philanthropy Colorado’s Climate Action Network. Please register to receive login information.

Hear about what some of our member foundations are learning as they move from traditional investing to deploying capital for environmental impact, in order to use the "other 95%" of their endowment portfolios for the greater good.

Our presenters will touch on concerns about missing out on investment gains and discuss how to screen your portfolio to invest in climate solutions. Join us for a robust discussion on what's happening in the climate and environmental investing space, along with the urgency and opportunity to get started.

Presenters will include:

  • Tom Gougeon, President, Gates Family Foundation
  • Sue Dorsey, Senior VP, Finance, Administration & Impact Investing, Gates Family Foundation
  • John Powers, President, Prentice Foundation

Philanthropy Colorado's Climate Action Network focuses on opportunities for sharing and potential collaboration on ways to address climate issues through philanthropic grants, investments, advocacy and policy change.
