Broadband Funder Interest Group Meeting

Wednesday, March 17, 2021, 2:00 - 3:00 PM
This meeting is for the Philanthropy Colorado Broadband Interest Group. Our goal is to gain action-oriented understanding of the role philanthropy can play in supporting broadband access and adoption, specifically in rural Colorado. This group will evaluate the purpose and need for this group as it goes along.

We will be joined by Kathryn DeWitt from Pew Charitable Trusts for a deep dive into Pew's state broadband report on Colorado and focus on opportunities for Colorado philanthropy to advance broadband efforts in the "hardest to connect" communities. We will hear about strategies being deployed in other states that may align with assets and resources in Colorado.

There will be time to share our collective reflections and learnings on future actions, as well as updates from Colorado funders who are leaning into this work. Come ready to share your insights and inquiries on advancing broadband access and adoption in Colorado communities.

For more information on past meetings, information and/or to be added to the broadband funder listserv for timely information, please contact Amy Swiatek.
